Since we went directly from Cannon Beach to Port Angeles, we had an extra day to spare in town. We headed into the main part of town quite early in the morning, and found a coffee shop with wifi where we stopped to do some work. The campground didn’t have wifi and Dad needs to find himself a job, so that was the best place to go. We were in the coffee shop for about an hour and spent the next hour of our parking time walking up and down the street, looking in the shops and such. They had some neat stores

along the way and Kizmet had a good time walking around. We then drove over to a park on the ocean where we had a picnic lunch and walked around on the rocks that edged the ocean. After we finished on the rocks, we went to walk around the nearby campground. It was quite pretty, as there were a lot of trees as well as a few ocean overlooks. When we got back to the truck, we went for a quick drive over to the nearby World War II bunker. It had been build in case of attacks from the Japanese. It was really well camouflaged and it looked pretty solid. Unless you knew it was there, it was

quite unlikely you would see it, especially from the air. Back at the campground, Isaac started up a fire so that we could use up the rest of our wood before we crossed the border again. The boys and I sat outside and played a game of Risk in which Dad won spectacularly, and we relaxed for the rest of the night in preparation for our early morning the next day. Mum had rescheduled our ferry, and we were now booked on the one at 8:20am, meaning an early rise for us. Peace out m8s.
