Sonya’s Blog - Day 324 - May 11th - Driving to Port Angeles, WA
We were going to camp for a couple of nights in South Bend, WA, which is near Long Beach. We decided we have had enough moving around and extended our day in Cannon Beach for one night and decided to spend two nights in Port Angeles (we were originally only going to spend one night). Long Beach is beautiful, but oh well. This change means that we will have to drive longer today.
So we spent a long time driving today. We went up the coastal highway and it was very pretty. There really isn’t a lot more to report on the drive.
We are staying just outside of Port Angeles at the Elwha Dam RV Site. It is a nice little spot and there are some nice pathways that go to the old dam site, one is right behind our campsite. That is nice for Kizmet and her walks. We also have a firepit, so the boys are excited about that.

Once we were all set up, Isaac started on making a fire and Blake and I got supper together. When supper was done, we all watched A Fish Called Wanda. The RV place had a small selection of DVD’s that you could rent and this was one of them. We all crammed into our bed and had a good laugh.
That was it for us.
