Sonya’s Blog - Day 321 - May 8th - Happy Mother’s Day
Well Happy Mother’s Day to all you mother’s out there. Hope it is a good one for you.
Isaac is so excited that it is Mother’s Day. He got up early and made me tea. He decorated my room with sea shells, so that it was more beachy. He had made me some coupons, which he hid around the RV for me to find. There were all sorts of coupons. Some for tea, others for him to be quiet for a bit, stuff like that. He also made a crappy piñata (out of a ziplock bag) and he wanted me to go out and whack it. It took me all day, but I finally did. Two whacks and it broke. Pretty funny.

Natasha made me a lovely card and crepes for breakfast. For lunch we had a high tea, which everyone chipped in on (well, except for me). The kids even helped out for supper, bbq pork loin and a salad. It was all very good and I was very spoiled.
It rained last night, so it was a windy and cool day outside. I took Kizmet to the beach, earlier in the day. It was so windy down there, that we only walked for a bit. Later in the day, when we were just lazing around and trying to stay warm, Natasha and I watched Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon. It was pretty bad, I must say. Reese is super cute, but it’s a ridiculous movie. Otherwise, I just read my book. I am still reading New York, as it is about 1000 pages. I am not even 1/2 way through it yet. It is pretty good so far.

There was a bit of an emergency in the campground in the late morning. Our neighbour was run to the hospital, after suffering a seizure. They have four dogs and his wife asked us to keep an eye on the dogs and the trailer, while she went to the hospital to check on him. We, of course, didn’t mind at all. They have three Corgi’s and a Papillon (who was scared of all of us). The Corgis, however, couldn’t get enough attention from us. They were all good on their walk, but Natasha had to corner the Papillon and pick him up to get him to go. Once he was outside and leashed, he was fine, but still scared. The Corgi’s couldn’t wait to go on a walk and get some love. Luckily the gentleman was released from the hospital later that evening, they were both very relieved and the dogs were happy to have them back.
Blake and I took Kizmet to the beach again, for her another long walk. It is just so easy to get to the beach, so it is hard to avoid going there. It was still quite windy, but we made it work. Kizmet didn't care, she loves the beach and any beach will do.

After supper Blake, Isaac and I finished watching True Lies. Isaac thought it was a pretty great movie, he throughly enjoyed it. I haven’t seen it since it came out, it was good to watch again.
