Sonya’s Blog - Day 317 - May 4th - May the Fourth Be With You!
Well, it is a rainy, windy day. Not much fun, but the way it goes. It was a chilly walk on the beach this morning with Kizmet. As a result, we didn’t do much. Mostly stayed in and tried to stay warm and cozy. We did brave the weather a few times, so that Kizmet could get her walks in. She thought the weather was just fine and could have stayed out much longer. Getting pelted with sand and rained on, not really my idea of an enjoyable walk.
There are two walkways, from our campground, down to the beach. This one, however, was washed out in March when they had historic storms and the water came right us and took away the path and some of their beachfront campsites:

When Isaac was done his school work for the day, the boys watched a James Bond movie. I have seen plenty of those in my lifetime, so I watched my own movie in my room. I watched The Promise, which wasn’t that great. Kind of slow and not very interesting. Ah well. I also read some of my book, New York by Edward Rutherford. I have read Paris (which I loved) and London (which I slogged through) by him. I wasn’t really interested in reading New York, after I read London, but I am out of books. It is okay, so far, at least it doesn’t start out as slow as London did.
That was it for our day.
