Sonya’s Blog - Day 316 - May 3rd - A Beach Day
Today we just wanted to hang out and spend some time on the beach. Natasha set herself up on the beach, this is her math class:
Pretty rough.
Isaac is better if he works at a table, so he was all set up in the trailer working away.
Kizmet loved the day, so many walks on the beach and just getting to hang out there all day, she was pretty exhausted by the end of the day.
In the morning, when the tide was coming in, we couldn’t get to the cove. Blake and I had fun climbing on the rocks and watching the tide come in.
When the tide went out, later in the day, we still couldn’t go to the cove as a dead seal had washed up on the beach. Poor seal:(
Around 4 PM we packed up all our chairs and got cleaned up to go out for supper. Isaac was covered with sand, so needed a shower. That kids loves to roll in the sand and put it in his hair. My shower looked like someone had come in with a bucket and dumped sand in it! I was pretty happy about that.
We went into Coos Bay and went to Shark Bites for some Fish and Chips. This was a cute, local cafe. We had yummy crab cakes and tasty fish and chips. It was nice and Coos Bay is a nice town.
