A Walk In Town

The RV repair guy showed up at our trailer shortly after I woke up this morning and poked around at our slide for about five minutes so he could tell us that there was nothing he could do for our trailer and that we had to take it in somewhere else, all for the cost of $200. Kind of a rip off if you ask me. After that useless visit, Dad called multiple RV repair shops, trying to find a place where he could book an appointment for the trailer, but it the only one that was an option for us was the one in Kelowna a month from now. I guess we’ll have to deal with it for now. After all that good stuff, the boys headed off to the campground’s pool and Mum and I took the truck into town so we could have a look around. We stopped first at a used bookstore where I found a couple of books, one of which is an interesting take on Alice In Wonderland that I’m looking forward to reading, since I love Alice In Wonderland, mostly because it’s so screwed up. After we dropped our books off at the truck, we did some more browsing. There were quite a few boutiques and vintage stores. I found a keychain for Oregon and Mum and I both got a few salt water toffees in a candy store. It was fun to walk around and we picked up some groceries for dinner before heading back to the trailer. After that, we just hung around at the campground and relaxed. Peace out m8s.
