Slow Day

I got to sleep in this morning, which was nice, and we were paid a visit from the local deputy once I was up. She came around to take Dad’s statement about the stolen bike and to take down the bike’s serial number. We needed new bike locks, so we headed into town once the deputy had left. To make the trip more enjoyable we made a stop at Crescent Beach, which is a little bit more scenic than Walmart’s parking lot. Crescent Beach is quite rocky, so it was fun to

explore and I got some good pictures. I also cut my foot on a particularly jagged rock, which kind of sucked but I injure myself on

everything so it wasn’t exactly unexpected. After our stop on the beach, we drove over to Walmart so we could pick up new bike locks, ones that wouldn’t be as easy to cut. I stayed in the truck with Kizmet while the others went in. Picking out locks isn’t exactly an enjoyable pastime, you know. Back at the trailer, we all sat outside around the fire and relaxed until the bugs drove us indoors. Peace out m8s.
