Play Ball!
Mum was still pissed off about losing the backpack this morning so that kind of put a damper on my mood at least. It was also raining and Mother didn’t want to walk around and get wet, so we stayed in for a little longer than originally planned, meaning that we missed our chance to see the Filbert Steps. The boys and I got to watch the first forty minutes or so of Mr. and Mrs. Smith while we waited for the rain to stop, so that was okay. At quarter to ten, Mum got us off our butts and out the door so we could make the next ferry, since the rain had stopped. We had tickets to a Giants VS Padres game and we only had a little time before we had to be at the stadium, and Isaac wanted to buy something at one of the shops on Pier 39, so we hopped on one of the trolleys and
headed over there. Isaac got his thing, we bought a couple of crêpes for lunch, and then got back on the trolley that would take us all the way to the baseball stadium. The game was quite busy, considering it was a Wednesday, and the game was pretty good. There were a lot of runs, which always makes the game more exciting, and San Francisco ended up winning, 13-9. After the game was over, we decided to walk back to the ferry terminal instead of taking the trolley, since it would have been too crowded. On the way back, we all got free Monster energy drinks, since we just happened to come along at the right time. I chose the lemonade/ice tea flavour and it was pretty good, if a little sweet. We arrived at the terminal right as the ferry started boarding and managed to get on right away. The rest of the day was rather uneventful. Peace out m8s.
