We're Getting Our Kicks Once Again

We were all very sore this morning after hiking 15km, as one tends to be, so we stayed in for most of the day. Isaac and I did yet more homework. We only managed to drag ourselves out of the trailer at mid-afternoon, and drive into the town of Williams to walk around and to go out for

dinner. Williams was the last town bypassed by the I-40 when it was being built to replace Route 66 and is totally a typical Route 66 town with lots of little restaurants and neon signs. We walked around for a bit, checking out the

steam engine you can take through the Grand Canyon and a couple of shops. Once we we all pretty hungry and getting tired of walking around, we put Kizzy in the car and went to get a table at the Italian Bistro, which had a wood-fire oven, and all of us ordered some pizza. I also got some vanilla gelato for desert, which was delicious of course. By the time we had finished eating, it was getting pretty dark outside so we decided to drive back to the trailer and call it a day. Peace out m8s.
