We drove to New Orleans today, just in time for the last week of the Mardi Gras celebrations. We’re actually leaving Memphis a day earlier than we’d planned because of the threat of major storms and tornadoes quite literally hanging over our heads. There wasn’t much of interest to see on the ride, unless you count my face, because if you do, I can tell you my face is very nice to look at. When we got to the campsite, Dad got a pamphlet with Mardi Gras information that I started to read through after we set up. It looks like they really like Mardi Gras in New Orleans because there are so many things going on, it’s sort of ridiculous. Peace out m8s.
