Merry Christmas to all! Neither Isaac nor I were up really, really early but by 9:15am, we were all sitting around and starting on our stockings. We opened up a couple of presents before Dad had breakfast ready, including a big book for me “from” Grandma and Grandpa, which has seven of Jules Verne’s novels in one. Dad had made a really nice breakfast of eggs Florentine, which we haven’t had for a while, so that was nice. Other presents I received were the jeans that I had bought the other day (Merry Christmas to me from self), a Hogwarts varsity jacket I had seen at Hot Topic, as well as a Maurauder’s Map dress, also from Hot Topic given to me from

Mum and Auntie Amber. It’s my new favourite place. From Nana, I got the little gold necklace I had seen in the boutique next to the Wilkes House and a Dan and Phil sweater, which she has at her house because she ordered it online for me which was fantastic. Dan and Phil make Youtube videos, by the way. Also from Grandma and Grandpa was another set in one, the Foundation Trilogy by Isaac Asimov. I still have

to read i-Robot though. Dad also got me another calligraphy set, this time with a proper feather quill. I busted that open right away and I find that it works remarkably better than the glass ones, probably because the glass ones are of a different design. Hopefully they’ll be easier to use once I get the hang of this new one. Isaac got me some little things, including a set of Chinese handcuffs, which is essentially a finger trap and a poster of all my favourite things that he had made himself on the computer. Auntie Suz bought me a new book online, the first of a trilogy. She already has

the other two books so I’ll be reading that soon hopefully. I was really happy with my haul, which turned out to be bigger than I had expected. After that, it was time to make calls to each member of the family to wish them a Happy Christmas. I spent the rest of the day catching up on Supernatural and watching Once Upon a Time, which is code for I sat on my butt and did zero things. After Mum put the turkey breasts in the oven, we played a game of Love Letter : Batman, something Isaac had gotten as a present. We had played the original version at Auntie Suz’s house, so we just had to review the rules. We didn’t end up finishing our game since the food finished cooking. After our delicious dinner, we put on The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. For whatever reason, we put on the second one, which I don’t like nearly as much so I didn’t watch the whole thing but the others enjoyed it. Peace out m8s.
