Across the Delaware

Jonny Depp's intense face

Ah yes, another day of bus tours. Since we only did one loop yesterday and we have two days for Big Bus, we got on another loop. There are four loops but the red and blue loops are almost identical and the green loop isn’t very exciting. We’d done the red/blue loop

My bro Abe

yesterday so we decided to take the yellow. We went through George Town, which was the original settlement that Washington grew out of, and Dupont Circle as well as past the White House, which while it wasn’t a good view, it was pretty much just about as close as

NDR and FDR. Oh, and also Winston Churchill
Sassy eyebrow thingy

you could get. It was really quite cold today so we didn’t get off anywhere and ended up going inside for the last little bit because of the wind. After the tour we headed over to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. Of course, the first section was all about founding fathers

Birthday Buddies

and the presidents. I got a picture with John and Jacqueline Kennedy and also with my bro Abe Lincoln. Then there was another section for celebrities including Johnny Depp, The Rock, MJ,

Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon. I got a picture with all of the above

Me, aka the Kennedy's temporary daughter

except for The Rock. It wasn’t a very big museum, but it was fun to check out. After that we decided to go find dinner, which was fun because the GPS kept showing the restaurant we were looking for in the middle of a road. Luckily, it was actually on the corner of a street and not in the sewer so the meal was fantastic. It

was then time to head over to Warner Theatre to see Sherlock Homes. We got there as soon as the doors open but we had the wrong time so we ended up being an hour early instead of half an

hour. It was all right though, I had my iPad so I read for almost the entire time. The show was more of a comedy than serious, which was definitely an interesting take on Sherlock Holmes. They incorporated a few of the original Conan Doyle stories into it and was very fast paced. I liked it a lot, I thought it was really cool but a lot of people left at intermission and Mum didn’t like it at all. She also doesn’t like David Arquette, who played Holmes, so that may have had something to do with it. There were a couple line mishaps, but all in all it was a good performance. Peace out m8s.
