Well, as Washington is a rather large city, the plan was

to take the the bus tour. Well, one of the bus tours. There’s different branches that each one goes to. As I said, big city. Today was supposed to be the warmest day so it was a good plan. We bought tickets for the Big Bus Tour because we thought they were going to have a live tour but unfortunately only some of the buses had tour guides and we didn’t end up on any of those ones. We took the bus past a lot of government buildings

and to Union Station where we got out to have a look around before catching the next bus. And

still, no live narration. The next place we stopped at was the Lincoln Memorial which is really fricking huge. I mean seriously, do they really need a memorial that large? I got a picture on the edge of the reflecting pool with the Washington Monument in the background so I was basically recreating the opening scene of the Winter Soldier. On the last leg of the tour we went across the Potomac River and into Arlington Cemetery, past the pentagon before we drove past the Capital building and the FBI building, which was voted the ugliest building in the world a few years ago. When we got off the bus, it was already getting dark, because it gets dark at like 4:00pm, so we decided to head back. Peace out m8s.
