Rocky On Remembrance Day

Happy Remembrance Day! Well, Memorial/Veteran’s Day
because we’re American now apparently. Well, the annual Remembrance Day ceremony was happening in Ottawa today of course and we watch it every year so we watched all of that in the morning to keep up our yearly tradition. After regarding that and laughing at the prime minister’s bodyguard’s expressions when Justin Trudeau stayed behind after the ceremony to talk to the general public, we ate some lunch and set out for the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Right across from the museum is a very large monument to George Washington, which is also called the Washington Monument but is a lot prettier in my opinion. When we were done
looking at that we crossed the street to the bottom of the stairs. Of course, when we got there we ran up the steps in famous Rocky style and did the pose at the end. Kizzy was the fastest of all of us, she really likes to run up steps I guess. Who knew. I did some handstands at the top of the steps and luckily didn’t flip over the edge and then we got a picture with the statue of Rocky himself, lovingly donated by Sylvester Stallone, at the bottom of
the steps. Fairmount Park, the park full of sculptures, is at the back of the art museum so we decided to take Kizzy for a walk around there. We didn’t get to the end, shockingly because I mean it’s only 42 miles long, but we had some fun walking at looking at all the weird statues. We had to turn around after a while since it gets dark at 5:00pm now and we didn’t want to be caught with absolutely no light left on our drive home. We ended up getting lucky and finding a really quick path out of the city, so ’twas all good. At the trailer, the other three played a game of Monopoly, in which I had zero interest so I did other things. The game ended with lots of yelling. It’s like I have a sixth sense because I somehow knew that was going to happen. Peace out m8s.
