Alas, today is our last day in Pittsburgh. Aaaaaaannddddd Happpppyyyyy

Birtthdaayyyyyy to Kizmet! She’s only three. I spent the morning doing some more blogging since I’m still not caught up. I was also gifted with a pair of red Converse that Auntie Suz doesn’t wear anymore. It made me very happy. After lunch, when Auntie Suz picked up Claire early from school since it’s our last day, when Uncle Adam got home, when Dad got back with the truck after it had gotten it’s tire changed and when the lady who cleans the house showed up, we headed out to a park with a frisbee golf course so we could play around. We had some fun doing the frisbee golf holes and playing fetch with Kizmet. The kids went to play at a park for a while so Uncle Adam and I had a conversation about the research question I had to come up with for his end of my schooling. We had a very interesting conversation about nightmares, moods and randomization, since my question was about the relationship between dreams

and a person’s mental state. After that, we kept walking a bit to pick up the frisbee golf game again. I collected some organic materials for another of the projects Auntie Suz assigned and opted out of this game, so it was just Mum, Dad and Uncle Adam playing while the other kids played at another park. We were there for about fifteen minutes before heading back to the house. It was now nice and clean, so of course the kids went to mess it up properly. The plan was to order Indian for the night, since Uncle Adam wanted to take us out for dinner but the rest of the adults felt that would be too stressful so this was the next best option. While we were waiting for the food I made a batch of play dough for yet another project. I had written up a paper about

an important historical figure in Pittsburgh’s history

Such beauty has never before been seen

and now I had to create a bust of him. I chose E.L.Drake, the first person to strike oil in Oil Creek, Pennsylvania. My bust was pretty good I thought, but looks a little like a cross between Albert Einstein and Abe Lincoln. The food arrived before I had finished and it was really good, especially one vegetarian dish with a creamy tomatoey sauce. After dinner, I played a game of Love Letters, which is an Asian game translated to English. It was really fun, especially when Dad joined Mum, Auntie Suz and I. Once all the kids were asleep and Uncle Adam came down, we finished our game quickly and Isaac and I went to bed so the adults could play a game of 120’s. Peace out m8s.
