Nerd Pins

Well, this morning was very stressful for Mum and Auntie Suz, since Suz had to drive the kids to school, as well as the neighbour’s kids, but Dad and Uncle Adam had taken the van to go on a run. In the end, Mum ended up having to drive sans license, they got stuck in a lot of traffic and were late for school. Needless to say,

there was pissed off in the air when I came downstairs. I needed to catch up on blogging, since I have fallen behind, what with New York and relatives, so I tried to do that for most of the day, but I kept getting the laptop taken away from me. Apparently, we need more than one. Guess I should get on with building my own. All of us, except for Claire since she was at school, went to meet Uncle Adam at a comic book store. I bought five new nerd pins to add to my backpack, including another Captain America one, since I have successfully become Cap trash thanks to the movies. Shout out to Chris Evans and Sebastien Stan for ripping out my heart and stomping on it. Moving on. After everyone was finished with the comic store, we headed down the street to grab some frozen yogurt, since it’s pretty much the best thing ever invented. I had half taro root and half raspberry with fruits on top. On the way back, we took some alternate routes, which were slightly less noisy and busy than the main 5th Ave. There are lots of really nice houses in Pittsburgh, it really is a very pretty city. Back at the house, I headed up to the toy room so I could blog some more and also so I didn’t have to go through the terror of witnessing Isaac making his own dinner. The dinner turned out well, but I’m pretty sure Mum and Auntie Suz did just a bit of it. The adults had plans to go out so I stayed home to babysit the kids. They were really good until I had to put Kate and Claire to bed after the collaboration of Disney shorts we were watching was over. They got a little bit emotional because their parents weren’t home, and they had a little bit of a fight when I was reading them bedtime stories. It didn’t help that Simon wanted up the entire time. I finally got them settled in after I brought them drinks and then I brought Isaac a rootbeer while we watched an episode of the Flash. After Isaac and Simon went to bed, I went back upstairs to blog a bit more and watch another episode of American Horror Story. I posted a couple of blogs and wrote a few more. The episode was pretty much just as creepy as the last one, but I still think it’s really good. Then I FaceTimed with my friend Jeremy for a while until the parents got home, at which point I went to bed. Peace out m8s.
