Zerakalon chapter one

Billions of billions of years ago there was a plague unlike any other seen before. A plague, both object and living could get. It would boil you alive then you then you would explode. It could kill gods, so the gods had to stop it. First they tried trapping it in a powerful white mirror, but the mirror instantly caught the plague, leaving the gods 3 years to figure out a weakness or a cure. The day before the mirror exploded the gods figured out that X-halo, a light, red, stron subtance that would rimind one of stone, could resist the plague, and there was no cure. The gods made a planet out of X-halo, using the gravity to pull the plague to it. Though, legend has it in one place the mirror broke. The plague was not meant to last in 1 place for more then 1,000 years, so it started changing. The process turned most of the X-halo

(prononsed X-hollow) into stone. The plague turned into a mix of water and pure highly corrosive acid creating a series of lakes and where there is water, life will follow. It started with the White-Zilo, the Black-Zilo, the X-spike-Flog, the Y-headed squit, the blob, the spike-fluit tree, and 54 other species of animals and plants. The White-Zilo and Black-Zilo lived in a mountain cave at the most northern point of the planet. They call it Mount Zentripod. Although the White-Zilo stayed its entire life in Mount Zentripod. The Black-Zilo spent some time out of the mountain’s darkness.

The X-Spike-Flog looks like a frog that grew three times the normal size and has very weak skin. It spent its time near the spike-fluit tree, trying to catch a spot on the fluit without touching spikes. When it gets a fluit it cuts open the armour eats the fluit inside then puts the armour. At the age of about seven, the flog has full body armour and spikes in the shape of an 'X' all around its body. It can swim in the acid lakes not knowing that the armour is made of X-halo or that X-halo is worth a fortune of fluit.

The blobs were giant blobs of blood with blue skin that was only a thousandth of a millimetre. It’s life was useless. It floated in the same direction until it hit something and then it exploded, its blood flying everywhere. When that happened, a new blob would appear in its place, 1 mm away.

The Zilo looked like a lizard the size of an elephant. It has a powerful, spiked exo-skeleton made of X-halo allowing it to walk in the acid lakes. Zilo means "the terror that walks the planet" in old Zerathonien. The green-Zilo is known throughout the land. A mix between the blob, the wight-Zilo, and the black-Zilo made to be the ultimate Zilo. Instead, it was the weakest, least secretive Zilo. It stays in the Cave for around 10 of the 500 years that it lives. Whoever doesn’t know about the green-Zilo lives on average 5 years because they are killed by the creature. Most creatures in Zerackalon live at least 80-100 years, besides the blob who lives an average of 10 min. The recor​d is 1-hour for a blob to live.
