Kennebunkport, Which I Guess Is A Place

Most of the morning was taken up, yet again, by school type work. Dad and his swollen face aided me in updating my learning plan and making a monthly goal sheet. That was fun, apparently I’m behind on math whoops, need to catch up on that. I got around to playing the violin again today, but we need more rosin as I may or may not have left the one that came with the case as Maureen and Peter’s in Newfoundland. Another whoops.

Isaac had been begging all of us for two days to go and play kickball and we finally agreed. I lost magnificently when Dad caught my last ball. I was very happy about it, obviously. After we finished Isaac’s long awaited game we hopped in the car with Kizzy and drove to Kennebunkport just to check out the area. We saw

the Bush family compound, which consists of one massive mansion on the edge of the ocean and another ten or so slightly less large mansion. Looked like a tight squeeze for all of those nineish people that usually visit. After driving around a while, we finally found a parking spot a little

ways out of downtown and got out to walk around. We went in a little kids shop to get gifts for my little cousins. Mum and I stopped in another couple of cool shops before we turned around to bring Kizzy back to the truck before we went for dinner. We ended up at this great restaurant called Bandaloop, the name of which was inspired by the Tom Robbins novel

Jitterbug Perfume. You may understand if you have read it, but I certainly don’t. I ordered scallops for dinner while Mum looked up everything there was to know aspic, savoury jello salad. She was wondering since we had watched an episode of Corner Gas in which Emma made jello salad and Isaac was wondering. There were many things to know, but all in all the lesson was it’s disgusting. By the time we had finished, it was dark out so we headed back to the RV and bed. Peace out m8s.
