Au Revoir À Tante Marguerite

We’re staying another day after all. We had breakfast and then went out to the nursing home to see Tante Marguerite. She was quite tired today and she had a cough, so she stayed in bed while we visited. It was nice to see her again before we got on the road and she was happy to see us. Kizmet also got to visit, since pets are aloud in the home as long as they’re on leash. Tante loves dogs and she liked Kizmet. On the way back to Mariette and Michel’s, we stopped to do a couple of errands and at the Université so Dad could get his genealogy. It was

good timing on our part, because the café had just baked a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls, so Mum, Isaac and I had some of those while Dad was upstairs researching his family history. When we got back to the house, Isaac and I did some school work after lunch and Dad tried to figure out his genealogy. For dinner, Michel cooked up some hotdogs and burgers with a side of salad. We played some more cards this night, golf this time. Isaac started the game with us, but he had to go to bed halfway through since he was getting too hyped up. Lise played with Mariette, Dad, Mum and I, which was unusual, since she doesn’t usually play cards. She ended up winning with two minus twenties and I came in second. Then Lise got back to watching the Voice, the others played some games of dice and I went to bed. Peace out m8s.
