Belliveau Cove
Today we drove down to Belliveau Cove by Digby to visit my grandmother’s cousins, Mariette and Michel, as well as her aunt, Tante Marguerite. I don’t remember any of them very well, since the last time I saw them was approximately eleven years ago, so I was three. As it turned out, Mariette’s cousin Lise was also visiting from Vancouver. While Mum, Dad and Michel went to park the trailer, Isaac and I went to help Mariette with a pie she was making for dessert. Well, I stirred for a little bit before Isaac decided he wanted to do all of it, so I sat and talked with Lise while Isaac built a snowman made of leftover pie dough. Once the trailer was successfully backed up and set up, it was time for dinner. We had chicken and spaghetti, which was quite delicious. Then for dessert, we had the coconut cream pie Mariette had made. It was fabulous and it was her mother’s recipe. Mum asked for it afterwards, so now we have it as well. Alas came the time for me and Isaac to go to bed while the adults caught up. Peace out m8s.
