A Day Of Top Secret Agentness And Harleys
Guys guess what. We left before 10:00am today. I know I know. *Bows, catches rose*. We went to the Harley Davidson Museum today. There were very many bikes. Apparently they have every single model dating from 1903, when the company was founded by the three Davidsons and Bill Harley. It was actually pretty interesting and I especially liked the wall that had a lot of the designs that have been on the gas tanks over the years, with some information and sketches on the wall below. Across the way, there was also a museum dedicated to Willie G. Davidson, who was the first real designer for the company, hired by his father for the sole purpose of designing, unlike in the past when there was no
department of the sort. The section was filled with bikes and watercolours donated by Wille. His paintings are quite good, but then again, I’ve always like watercolour. For lunch afterwards, Isaac wanted to check out the Safehouse. a 007 themed restaurant requiring a password to get in. Since we didn’t have the passcode, we ended up having to do the chicken dance in front of a “secret” camera, broadcasted on TV’s for the rest of the guests to watch. Good times, I always love to be judged by random strangers. Our booth was inside a jail cell, but thankfully the door was left open and there were Bond posters and such covering the walls. It also had a fake boys bathroom, a two way mirror, a piece
of the Berlin Wall, a prisoners cell from Berlin and a secret passage out. After we had all eaten, we headed to make a very important phone call. I put 25c in the slot, picked up the phone and typed in the code the operator told me. 742. The one wood panelled wall slid open, and we had to descend the stairs to and underground passage lined with cobblestones. We came out from the back of the restaurant, at right angles to where we went in. We had left the truck across the river back at the Harley Davidson museum, so we had to walk the 2km back. Since we had eaten late, none of us felt like dinner when we got home, so the boys went down to the pool, Mum went with them to use the Wi-Fi and I stayed back with Kizzy and read for a bit. We had to leave the next day, so we went to bed relatively early. Peace out m8s.
