Today was a day for rejoicing. I got to sleep in until 10:30am and it was good. I then had a shower and did readying things whilst Isaac and Dad departed for Mount Olympus of the gods. Mum and I joined them a little later, but she didn’t want to do any rides, so my brother and I went on the Cyclops rollercoaster which turned out to be the most rickety thing ever. We decided to then check out the indoor theme park and see what it was all about. It turned out to be more of an indoor arcade than a theme park, with some really little kid rides interspersed throughout. Isaac decided he was going on the Crazy Trolley, which basically went around and around in a vertical circle, but he wasn’t doing it alone, no because that would just be too much. So I was tasked with joining him on said ride and it turned out to be even worse than it originally looked. That was it for the indoor theme park. Mum had decided it was time for lunch, so we headed back towards the exit, stopping at Hermes’ (I think) go carts, which had a figure eight track. Such excitement this morning. After lunch we headed back for the joys of the water park. We decided to go to the part set further back into the grounds, the older section. It soon became apparent that the safety measures of the park made the park suck. It took almost three minutes between each person on one set of slides. It didn’t really help that the slides didn’t get enough water and thus were extraordinarily slow. Mum and Dad went back to the seats while Isaac and I went on the Demon’s Drop, their drop of doom thingy. That was faster moving than the others, but still. After that, Mum decided she was going to head back and Isaac wanted to do his own thing so Dad and I did the racer slides and one raft ride before I headed back as well and Dad joined Isaac in the wave pool. At home after the boys joined us we had a quick supper. Mum and I decided to not return and simply read while the other two went back for some more rides. I managed to complete a mediocre book report and start another, do some blogging, read the rest of my book and do a conditioning list before they got back after dark. Twas then time for bed yet again. Peace out m8s.
